Personal data protection notice
This page explains what data we collect through fabioefedericoitalianstyle.com, why we collect it and what rights you have. Notice given under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Who processes your data
The data controller is Fabio e Federico Italian Style S.r.l., registered office at Corso Moncenisio 63/2, 10090 Rosta (TO), Italy — tax code and VAT number 12647490015.
For any request about your data, write to [email protected].
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as the legal conditions requiring one do not apply.
What we process, why and for how long
Contact form
When you write to us through the form we collect your name, email address, organisation (optional) and the text of your message. We use them only to read you and reply.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to those who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Provision: optional, but without a name, an email address and a message we cannot reply.
- Retention: 24 months from the last contact, unless the message leads to a contractual relationship, in which case statutory terms apply.
⚠️ Your message is forwarded to a Gmail mailbox. Mail sent to
[email protected] stays on our server and is at the same time
forwarded to a Gmail address used by the company: the content of your message therefore also
passes through Google's systems (see "Who we share data with").
The form does not store your IP address in clear text: to limit automated submissions we keep only a one-way cryptographic version of it (HMAC-SHA256 with a secret key), from which the address cannot be reconstructed.
Server logs
Like every website, the server automatically records IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system. This data is necessary to run and secure the service.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and correct delivery of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: no longer than 12 months, unless needed to investigate offences or abuse.
Usage statistics — only with your consent
If you accept from the banner, we activate Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. Clarity also records pointer movement, clicks and scrolling.
The contact form fields are masked in recordings: what you type into them is not captured.
- Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). You can withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.
- Retention: as set by each service, listed in the Cookie policy.
Without your consent these tools are not even loaded and no cookie is written.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or trade your data. It is processed on our behalf, as processors or independent controllers, by the suppliers that keep the site running:
| Supplier | Role | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Contabo GmbH | Server hosting the site and the mailboxes | Germany (EU) |
| Studiollice di Pollice Vincenzo | Development and technical maintenance of the site and server | Italy (EU) |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Delivery and protection network: sees requests in transit | USA / global network |
| Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC | Gmail (recipient of the info@ forward) and Google Analytics 4 |
Ireland (EU) / USA |
| Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. | Microsoft Clarity | Ireland (EU) / USA |
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare may also process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), to which these suppliers adhere, and secondarily on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the Commission.
Your rights
At any time you may ask us to:
- access the data concerning you and obtain a copy (Art. 15);
- rectify it if inaccurate or incomplete (Art. 16);
- erase it (Art. 17);
- restrict its processing (Art. 18);
- receive it in a machine-readable format or have it transferred to another controller (portability, Art. 20);
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
- withdraw consent to statistics at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Write to [email protected]: we reply within one month.
We carry out no profiling and no automated decision-making producing legal effects on individuals.
Complaints
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the Regulation, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.
Changes
If we change how we process data, we update this page and state the new date at the bottom. Please read it again from time to time.
